December 2009 Newsletter 12/17/2009
Well it is that time of year again the holidays are upon us and the NEOS have stepped up to the plate again. We produced over 1000 again this year and the club in conjunction with the Branson tri-lakes club made over 1000 ornaments for our service personnel in uniform that will be away from home during the holidays. Great job everyone. We had a great time at the November meeting putting together toys, and eating soup and chili provided by Doris McGuire and Judy Campbell. Ed John, the chairman of project Rudolph, did a great job with the project and his wife decorated the ornaments with ribbon. Ed reported that over 900 ornaments were donated and he cut enough to make the 1000 mark. THANKS ED. An abbreviated meeting was held and nominations were made for next year’s officers. President- Jim Stiek Secretary-Cora Mehm Treasurer—Judy Campbell Chuck Mehm agreed to publish the monthly news letter for 2010. Remember: this meeting is our Christmas party be sure to come enjoy the fellowship and good times. Please bring a covered dish or desert. Many thanks to the officers and staff of 2009. Also a heartfelt thank you to Jim Stotts for letting us meet at his place and all he does for the club. I encourage everyone to bring something for the raffle it doesn’t have to be big or great just something you think someone else might like to try out or something you discovered to use in your shop or old trade magazines.
